Who here is a casual boxing fan?

Most of you morons.

Floyd clearly won, deal with it. That was a virtuoso performance, so get over it.

Floyd didn't run, he didn't disengage, he schooled Pac. Give the man his due, b/c if you don't you're an ignorant fool.

I agree that Mayweather won. He fought s good strategic fight slipping punches and throwing counter punches after Pacquiao would commit.

To a casual observer it looks like Pacquiao won because he was the aggressor. He went forward while Floyd backed up. It also seemed like Manny caught Floyd a few times and threw some great combinations. In actuality most of those punches landed on Mayweather's gloves or missed entirely.

Of course mayweather won, but really there is no use arguing with casuals and what not...Just know that Mayweather won fair and square. He proved he was better...I'm a Pacquiao fan, but I am definitely not blinded by what happend nor am I disappointed either, both fighters get to walk away with millions

Yep, before the fight we all agreed there'd be no excuses afterwards but now the allegations of running and cowardice are rife.

As good as Mayweather Jr was this morning (tonight) Team Pacquiao have to take some responsibility too I think. It wasn't good enough, I thought it was clear that one has to be prepared to get knocked out in order to run Mayweather Jr close. Maidana put up a better performance in their first fight because he went for it and wasn't worrying about his chin.

For me only the undefeated fighter should be concerned about losing, once you've lost and then you lose four more times, why be cagey and stingy with the punch output?

Great to see Mayweather Jr extend his perfect record though, I enjoy watching his work. Another boxing masterclass this morning

Mayweather clearly won but it was not boxing. It was hugging, running, maybe dancing, and tagging his opponent more than he gets tagged. He was schooled that way, so stop complaining. The guy is an expert at what he does best. Hyping up his fights and fooling people to watch him and spend their money doing it.

I am not. This fight played out exactly as I predicted. Floyd would never make the mistakes Leonard made in Duran/ Leonard I. He moved, grabbed, boxed, jabbed, ...he did not allow Manny to get off as many shots as he wanted and he even at points brought the fight to Pacquiao.

I heard excuses before the fight and...

    1) He waited til Pacquiao was too old (although Floyd is older).

    2) Kenny Bayless saved him versus Maidana, he will help him in this fight.

    ...after the fight

    3) Floyd ran too much.

    4) Floyd held to much.

    5) Manny's shoulder was injured.

Floyd won. He is the WBC, WBA, and WBO champions. You wanted the fight. He gave us the fight and its over. Lets move on.

Mayweather proved he is the best fighter of this generation. Pacquiao is a great fighter and i don't think any less of him after this fight but he simply lost to the better boxer.

Hillarious how all these random users who i never remember seeing before start asking questions about the fight lol... they come and go, doubt we will see these people next week.

Ridiculous. All you people b*tch for Floyd to fight Pac, he does and completely schools him, but it's still not good enough.

Excuses, excuses. I hate the idiots who are infesting this place right now, and the talking heads on TV. You people know nothing, and it's disgusting. GTFO, you people ask for something and then act like a disappointed child when you get it.

Let's slow down...he beat someone 5 years past his prime who was recently knocked out. Mayweather is good but the competition he has faced in his career has been sub par at best.

It's a shame that this is what "boxing" has become, last time I'm ever watching a boring *** gayweather marathon run
