What does the Bible foretell about our day?

In the Bible at 2timothy it says :But know this, that in the last days+ critical times hard to deal with will be here. 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, 3 having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, 4 betrayers, headstrong, puffed up with pride, lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, 5 having an appearance of godliness but proving false to its power;+ and from these turn away

The bible says in the last days people would be lovers of themselves, loves of pleasures, backbiters, insolent, treacherous, haters of those who are good, having a form of godliness but proving false to its authority and importance and from such you must turn away.

In other words in the last days people would use God for material, social nd sexual gain and not for the purposes of celebrating his love and goodness towards human kind.

The bible failed to predict our discovery that the earth goes around the sun and not the other way around.

What makes you think a geocentric book can predict anything about our day?

We are living in the lasts days and as what we can see the world is in critical times and hard to deal with...

2 Timothy 4:3-4 for the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine,they will heap themselves teachers because they have itching ears, they will turn their ears away from the truth and be turned unto fables.
