What is the magnitude of the force on the electron?

An electron enters a 3.0 T magnetic field with a speed of 3,000 m/s. If the angle between the electron and the field is 30, what is the magnitude of the force on the electron?

    F = q v x B .... cross product between vector v and vector B.

    F = (-1.60217 * 10^-19 C) (3000 m/s) (3.0 T) sin(30degrees) .... answer in Newtons

    Magnitude means absolute value.
