Bee Sting help!!?
So on Tuesday I stepped on a bee bare foot at a swim meet and when it happened it hurt a lot so I just swatted the bee off. I got the stinger out and I hadn't really felt the pain after that, during the swim meet. The day after my foot was in so much pain and it is red, around the size of the bottom of a water bottle. It's also swollen.
How long will it take for it to heal? What can I do to reduce the swelling?

Ouch, must be really painful to stand on your foot! Hopefully you are just experiencing normal after effects and some swelling and redness is normal, often for a few days, and can turn to itching afterwards for a day or so. Use ice to help with the swelling. And, if you have some Benadryl or other anti-histamine cream, rub that on as many times a day as is recommended on the tube. It the redness and swelling goes on for more than a few days, and the pain is worse, it could be that the sting has become infected. In that case you will need proper medical help.
