Are my Goldfish done growing?
I have two black moore goldfish in my 20gal long. It's cycled and has double filtration and it's cleaned 25-50% weekly.
I've had them about a year and a half, rescued (from a school experiment) when they were about an inch. The largest is 2 inches (not including tail) and the smaller is about 1.5 inches (also not including tail). I feel like they should have grown a lot more in the time that I've had them, but they haven't. Are they stunted now? If so, how long can I expect them to live?

Fish grow according to how much food they have essentially. While some fish have "limits" of a sort... that doesn't mean much, because they can outgrow those limits with the most perfect care and environment possible. As for your fish being stunted... A) 20 gallons is a bit small for 2 goldfish of any type usually, because they get pretty big (despite what folks usually say.) B) Black Moors can live for up to 25 years, C) they only get to be about 6 inches long in the first place usually. So it's very likely that between what you rescued them from and the care you're giving them now they aren't done growing, they're just growing very slowly because of previous poor care. Even the shortest lifespan for them is supposed to be about 6 years, which could mean an inch a year or so. I think they're doing fine, they're just growing a bit slow.
