We are neither regenerated nor saved. What is your aim in life? My aim is to become a citizen of God's kingdom when I die. Jesus taught me that I can become a citizen of God's kingdom, only if I do what God guides me to accomplish for the benefit of humanity. Neither regeneration nor being saved helps.

We begin to undergo regeneration when we accept and confess Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour. But the transformation process must continue throughout our lives to have full effect.

Regeneration means God is transforming us daily from Adams sinful flesh image into God's (Christ's) spiritual holy image - back into the image of God as he created Adam to be before he sinned.

Scripture calls it a spiritual rebirth.

Jhn 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Jhn 3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

1Pe 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

We are saved when we allow Jesus to regenerate us.

The fact of the matter, we are saved because God Jesus Christ gave us a new souls and transformed us into a new creature of God, like God Jesus Christ did with Saul of Tarsus, God converted him into a new creature and change him into Paul and made him a child of God. That is why it is written No man comes to the father but through the son Jesus Christ, he did all the work before the foundation of the world, that is why he is called the lamb slain before the foundation of the world. also it is written by grace ye are saved.

The bath of regeneration is baptism.

Catholics don't share heretical Protestant views about baptism being they believe the heavenly gift of Sanctifying Grace given by the Holy Spirit can be earned by faith alone and even they go as fare as saying baptism is not necessary for salvation little do they know of their ignorance about such words they use.

Catholics believe the heavenly gift of Sanctifying Grace given by the Holy Spirit is a supernatural gift something which can not be earned by any merit of our own. When we are baptized we are baptized in His death the original sin is absolved as a dead man's sins are absolved. And rising is in relation to us entering into Heaven in which we "might" rise into Heaven after our body dies as the result of the effects of sin. Jesus instituted the Seven Sacraments they are ministries which He instituted and the Apostle administered to the people the first of these Sacraments is the Sacrament of Baptism in which Christians enter into His Church by water the bath of regeneration.

Of course there is the baptism by water in which Christians enter into His Church but His sacrifice was made for the world not exclusively for one religion. There is also the baptism by desire and the baptism by blood and the proof that others beside Christians entered into Heaven was the just souls that lived before the advent of Jesus in which He descended to them and preached His Gospel (good news) He came to deliver them from death in which after He risen on the third day they had risen into Heaven. They were baptized by desire and baptized by blood and they were not Christians but Jews and other Gentiles (Non-Jews). A person's religion no matters with God once the person dies in this world. And He doesn't judge people by their religion but rather by their faith in Jesus which is justified by their good works (charity). What people know is what they had been taught by their parents so there is no fault with their ignorance of Jesus, His Gospel, and His Church a person is judged by their faith which is determined by their works whether good or evil.

As Christians we enter into His Church when we are baptized by water the spirit is cleansed of the original sin and we are made holy in spirit not by our own merit but rather by Jesus' merits. And the heavenly gift of Sanctifying Grace will remain within us (Jesus remain within us) forever unless we hold His sacrifice in contempt and die in a state of mortal sin being the flesh is sinful in which case the heavenly gift of Sanctifying Grace is lost forever meaning there is no possible way into Heaven.

Non-Christians (unbaptized) by their good works (charity) they show their faith in Jesus even though they are ignorant of Jesus, His Gospel, and His Church. At the end of their life here in this world they might be baptized by desire or baptized by blood in which case they too will enter into Heaven.

Without the baptism in His death there is no means of entering into Heaven. Before the advent of Jesus the just had faith in God but they didn't have the heavenly gift of Sanctifying Grace which was necessary to enter into Heaven because of the original sin. No one can become "holy" by their own merit being as Scriptures states all fell short of the glory of God and also because of one man's sin all became sinners. We are not a "holy" creature in spirit unless we are baptized in His death we are sinners a fallen creature. And the proof we are not "holy" but rather sinners because we commit sin and have to repent for our sins which is also why we need a Savior such as Jesus. As for infants and children they are also not conceived and born into this world "holy" because the idea of them having to fall like Adam to become sinners is just wrong. They are innocent because of their ignorance of knowing what is good and evil, but the seed of disobedience is within them and as they age it becomes apparent. Even children are in need of a Savior such as Jesus.

The spirit is made "holy" by the heavenly gift of Sanctifying Grace given by the Holy Spirit. We are made "holy" through Jesus.

The body being of sinful flesh is corrupted.
