“too many girls have become afraid to be romantic . . . -"?

*****DISCLAIMER*****

This is a serious honest to god question. I'm not trolling here. I want to know what you think about this.

Have most women today become afraid of being romantic. I mean it seems like quite a few women, and I hate to say it, but a lot of them our feminists, who, you know, feel like a women getting her man a beer or making him a sandwich while he watches the game is sexist. Like its some huge mysoginistc thing for her man wanting her to make him a sandwich or dinner or anything like that.

I mean, no one complains when a girl expects a her boyfriend to give her flowers or chocolates or anything. Its romantic, he's doing something for her.

Well guess what, it's the same thing here.

I don't know, anyways, let me know what you think.

Not all guys want someone for sex. Why would you even want someone who is just trying to use a girl anyways? If you feel like you are too prudeish there is nothing wrong with that, but if you want to be a little less try being more outgoing. you dont have to go all the way out of your element but let go a little. I've had a couple of friends who had the same "problem" but they found some really sweet guys and it was just fine. other havent been so lucky but to be honest they were REALLY uptight. there is nothing wrong with having morals and respecting your body and self, but you have to open yourself up sometimes to others and put yourself out there to experience love.

No. It's not the same thing. Giving flowers to a girl and chocolates is a sign of a gentlemen giving respect to a girl. The girl didn't ask for it, but the guy insisted because he's a gentleman. Making your man a sandwich and a beer while he's watching the game is not a sign of romance. It's a sign of her being his *****. There's nothing romantic about a woman making a sandwich for a guy and giving him beer. There not the same. And I wouldn't say women are afraid to be romantic, more like they don't wanna follow the ***** traditions anymore.

I think lots of people think there's some weakness in being kind. And romance gets a bad press for being old-fashioned. I don't get it at all. I don't see the problem, but yes, I agree people don't seem to be able to show romance/ affection for their partners without getting all self-conscious. Maybe it's a lack of confidence. Not sure if feminists would be worse with this or not. Maybe they are, it's hard to tell. probably depends on the way people are raised, if they see their parents showing affection, and the way they behave with others in general.

Feminists are weirdos - also hypocrites, the false (Feminist) movement that wants females to follow man-nature instead of natural female-nature, that is embracing her femininity, lack of marital co-dependence on men, and (woman)'splainin' for all women.

Aside from Feminism, more and more women are Going Their Own Way, because they're tired of accusations of being called gold diggers, materialistic leeching sloots, and pseudo-scientific facts to why women 'cannot love' - its best in this era with for all females to NOT request gifts, material gains, marriage, or 'exchange enslavement loans' from males; as males will always expect appreciation + something in return for something that was NEVER asked for by the female.

At last, mainstream feminism is being exposed for ruining / corrupting the females true dominant feminine nature - telling females they have no right to choose and yet again corrupting the females true femininity. It's also masking females as Lezbo's. 90% of females love hot sexy male penus. The more femininst women tapping out leaves more male meat for the straight females not afraid to be a woman. Feminist women declare independence and still become purple pill beta wives. Pink pill women GTOW while being serial monogamous, asking for nothing from men but emotional support and physical connection so men can no longer complain all the damn time.

    Of course I will make food for a mate but regarding romantic stuff;

I am a bit lacking in that area...the first time when a man took my hand in his and just looked so sweet at me...I didn't know quite what I was supposed to do/say..it sinked in that I didn't have to do anything but just sit there and enjoy the moment...but it took adjusting to just be.. and be vulnerable and dreamy in a public situation.

Am glad that I get to learn more.

Yeahhh.... serving someone food and getting them a "samwich" while they're completely ignoring you while watching their game is NOT the same thing as someone going out of their way to buy you something special, in the moment, because they're thinking about you right then. Nice try.... actually a bad one. You should have looked up the definition of the word "romantic" first before posting this to look like your average clueless not too bright male.

Romance means: "A feeling of excitement and mystery associated with love" and "a quality or feeling of mystery, excitement, and remoteness from everyday life." Your girlfriend or wife fetching you a ham sandwich while you lay like an ape on the couch is not mysterious, romantic or something you don't expect her to do every other day for dinner, lunch or breakfast. You're just hungry and lazy. And she was closer to the kitchen.

Now if she makes you a candlelight dinner or grabs you out of that chair and takes you on a picnic someplace secluded just you and her. Showing each other nothing but attention. Then THAT would be romantic. She's still feeding you like you're grunting about but she's showing you how much she thinks you're special by going out of the way of not doing the norm while both of you are getting each other's total attention. Keywords in being romantic are SPONTANEOUS, MYSTERIOUS, and TOTAL (quality) AFFECTION. Otherwise she's just feeding the dog again. Like she does everyday. You're getting lazy mixed up with the word romantic. 2 totally different things.

Google's your friend. Use it next time.

Glad I'm not the unlucky chick stuck with you. My boyfriend is not clueless or lazy. He's actually really romantic. And knows how to show it. It's sexy as hell too. I hit the lottery with him.

@comment (laughing) Keep wishing. With a question like this... trust me you wouldn't' be able to handle me or get me. Or any girl like me. We go for MEN. Sexy ones. Not your average little clueless boring boy. There's no way I could take any male who asks a question like this seriously. The ones I go for do it right. And don't have to ask. You can always daydream though. gl with that

This reads more like a value-judgement than an actual question.

Also it seems surreal, in 1950 men ate sandwiches while watching sports, in 2015...... really?!?! If you want a beer though, ask nicely, that always works for me, it's something men in 1950 also KNEW, that today's boys seem to have forgotten, proper behavioral-etiquette.

Source(s): Wanting classic roles is simple, be a classic-man, which is a lot more work than you lazy kids think it is.

How is getting someone a sandwich romantic? Maybe yo just don't understand the meaning of the word? I am a feminist, and I cook dinner in our house--for myself AND my husband. I make him dinner every night. I expect flowers once a year. I think this is pretty commonplace. I think you just don't understand adult relationships.
