I don't shower very often either, about the same as you.. but that's because my skin gets very dry and my hair gets thin and tangled when I shampoo. But I still wash up certain areas, change in clean clothes, wash off my deodorant and put on a fresh swipe and brush my hair.. I do that stuff daily. And if my hair starts looks a little greasy I'll use some dry shampoo. Just covering up the dirty is really gross, and it's extremely unattractive and you probably smell bad. You don't have to take a full shower, but just clean up areas that get sweaty before you go to bed(A washcloth w/soap or baby wipes) and reapply your deodorant, don't just keep layering it and layering it. And don't slick your wet greasy hair into a ponytail, that's the sleaziest of all looks and you're not going to be getting any ladies doing that. Don't let it get greasy in the first place by spraying your hair with some dry shampoo. Also change into clean clothes daily.

Ew. You're a boy going through puberty. You stink. A lot. You may not notice it, but everyone frowns because of the smell. Even if you use deodorant a lot, you will never get rid of the smell. On top of that, it's not healthy for you to not wash at least your body every 2-3 days. In fact, that's the best way to do it. Take a shower everyday, and take care of your hair 2-3 days.

Well... Not only will you probably smell pretty bad but it's also good to keep yourself clean. At your age you tend to sweat a lot so that makes you stink. You also come in contact with a lot of germs everyday so its good if you wash yourself just to rinse of all the germs and bacteria you have collected throughout the day. If you don't shower on a daily basis it probably won't hurt but if you only shower once a week that may lead to bacteria growth or infections. Your showers don't have to be long but even a 30 second rinse is better then not showering at all. You also don't have to wash your hair. The oils on your hair get stripped whenever you wash it which can sometimes lead to damaged hair but if you don't wash your hair everyday that can help with hair growth. Again if you don't like showers thats fine but try to make it a daily habit just to rinse yourself off because no one wants to smell BO

Many people shower daily... You should shower around 2-3 days a week to maintain some good hygiene. Bacteria and other things tend to fester where your body excretes waste (neck, armpits, groin), so again, it might not be too healthy to leave it there. People won't like that you don't shower not just because you look dirty, but because you probably have an odor. Also, having hair that greasy is very gross... Just shower.

I have heard that taking a hot shower too often can leave you with dry skin, but I can't go a day without showering. I have to wash my whole body or else people aren't going to want to be around me. I guess you have to learn about your own body.
If you exercise a lot or live in a hot climate, you are probably not going to want to skip a daily shower. At the very least, you'll probably want to clean the underarms and private area since these areas are responsible for body odor and yucky bacteria.

Grow up - it's gross - full stop. Your body natural secretes sweat & once bacteria takes hold of it & breaks it down it stinks. You may not be able to smell yourself (it may also act as a comforting smell for you for some reason) but others can smell you before they even see you. It takes approx 4 mins to get a quick shower & keep your skin fresh - you need to "Wash every day before you spray" - that is what I tell my 13 yr old son. Otherwise your pores clog & that in turn will create blackheads - they look unsightly & people cna then tell you adopt a very poor personal hygiene routine. They won't want to come anywhere near you. Also your clothes - especially your underwear will smell too. I can bet if you have such a dreadful bathing routine that you then claim you don't wash but you put clean undies on daily - no of course that is not what anyone would do. Grow up and go get a bar of soap & some 2 in 1 shampoo & conditioner & some deodorant - for every ones sake. Don't forget to put you clothes in the wash & your sleeping garments & your bedding every week - uh they must hum for sure.

You need to bath no less than once a week. Are you familiar with the term, "Body Odor?"
B.O. is common on people who don't wash themselves regularly or wash their clothes very often. This builds up over-time and usually isn't detected by the person who is giving off B.O. (your nose gets used to it) so it is only those around you who can tell.
Also, fungal infections are more common among those who don't bathe regularly, in particular in the underarms and groin area.
Do you need to shower everyday? Absolutely not. Over-bathing wastes water, increases the water and electric bill, and it will dry out you skin and cause other problems. You should try to shower at least twice a week, but no less than once a week.

The problem is, people around you are very judgmental. I hate bathing every single day, but my Mom make me -_- . But showing once a week, doesnt really help your hygiene, in any way, safe. It's also about the cultural preference. As, I said before, people are very judgemental. And keeping yourself clean makes you feel better about yourself. And we all have sweat glands. Those sweat glands start to make you smell like you've never wanted yourself to smell like before. It's just simply disgusting :D ! It helps avoid odors, infections and germs. People who don't take a full shower should still cleanse certain areas such as their faces, feet, underarms and genitals. Nonetheless, maintaining overall cleanliness and good personal hygiene is important for maintaining a sense of self-confidence. Showering helps make you stay very clean. And average amount of showering would be about 3-4 showers a week, but I shower 6
days a week. I like to be clean. But we're all so lazy!!! :D

Honestly, you should be able to shower with whatever frequency you prefer. I do not have strong body odor, so I can get away with showering whenever I want. Since you are a 15 year old boy, just make sure you apply deodorant before you go out. If you don't like to shower, then don't. Don't let these people tell you what to do - they don't have to live your life. You do!
Best of luck. Us non-showerers gotta stick together.

I think the reason you think you don't have any reason to be clean is because people stay out of your way because you stink or look gross. with looks and smell aside I don't think it's healthy if you've been showering only this often for a while then your hair should have gotten used to it by now. Try showering at least twice a week and your hair will probably get way less greasy and you might have a reason to stay clean.
