Please Help with Math Problem! Find the Y-intercept of g(x) = - (x+1)(x-2)^2(x+4)?

    To find the y-intercept, set x=0

    -(x+1)(x-2)^2(x+4)

    -(0+1)(0-2)^2(0+4)

    (-1)(4)(4)

    y= -16 is the y-intercept

    (0,-16) is the y-intercept

    when x = 0, the curve crosses the y-axis...that doesn't seem hard !!

    g(0) = - (1)(- 2)² (4) = - (16) = - 16

    You really should TRY !!
