Should I buy this spring steel katana from the pawn shop?

It looks like a regular katana except it is made from spring steel. Cost $180.

    Who's the manufacturer and how do you know you aren't being lied to about the type of steel? For all you know it could be cheap 1045 steel.

    I personally would find out the manufacturer or company of the sword and go from there.
