I got some UK anime DVDs from Hastings that won't play on my PS2?

They was cheaper than the American versions but they don't work. I tried returning them, but they played when the guy put them in the TV at the store. I'm out $68 if I can't get them to play.

    Is your PS2 a UK PS2? If not, then that's why as they're *region locked*. If that's the case, next time get the *correct* ones instead of being cheap and getting something not guaranteed to work.

    you need a all Region dvd player. i got one.

    You need a region-free player like the guy at the store.
