Shrimp or something in my tank?

I have a 10 and 5 gallon. My five has a betta and zebra snail. It just seems a little empty. So I'm wondering if there's a small thing I could add? It's at a constant 76 degrees with almost perfect conditions always. It's a little bit hard water. I would really like some cute shrimp but idk...my parents don't really like the idea. It also has live plants filter sand but no co2

I would go ahead and try it out, just don't be surprised if your betta eats the shrimp! It's worth a go IMO-but remeber your fully stocked where your at now, so more water changes may be necessary to accommodate

It is extremely likely that your Betta will eat the shrimp at some point. So they don't make good tank mates.

You might consider adding another snail. Once I got multiple Nerites, I found that they actually seemed to like hanging out together. If it still looks empty after that, I think more plants would be good, rather than more livestock.

you could try cherry shrimp and or nerite snails.
