What can I do about kids trespassing on yard & playing soccer in alley street where balls hit house? Call the police & declare deliquents?
It's interesting how some people feel I should just let myself be abused - if people want to trespass on my land and throw projectiles at my house, I should just smile and replace windows and do repainting as necessary. forgetting all about my rights under the law.
Then some other people understand...Hmm weird. Trespassing and throwing objects at people's house is illegal for a reason. We shouldn't have to stand guard to protect our property, we should be able to invoke the law when needed.

Just gather sufficient physical evidence to get justice.

Post "No Trespassing" signs every twenty feet along the property fence.
Call the police, do not use the 911 as it is not an emergency. Talk to the desk sergeant or Dispatcher about the situation.
Consider that the little Bast***s are very vindictive and do not have anything to lose, if you do not have video.

It's okay for kids to play in the street in your neighborhood. But it should be the parents' duty to watch over their kids. Not only that, but it's not your fault. Like you said, you were just following the speed limit. If you think there are kids playing in the streets the next time, just slow down in case they might run into your car instead of you running them over. I seriously hate it when kids drop a ball across the street and don't even look in both directions to retrieve it. They just start running out. Parents these days don't know how to teach their kids what safety is. =)

I can understand why you are annoyed when the ball hits your house, but kids playing soccer are not delinquents. I would go outside and speak to them non-abusively about it and see if that helps. Let them know it is not alright for the ball to hit your property and disturb you. Tell them to play somewhere else, or at least keep the ball off your house.

leave them , at least you know they are where they should be , causing trouble may backfire on you , why not make your self known to them , as friends , give them the odd sweet , they will then maybe look after your property whilst playing , it's all about tolerating others.
