My birthday was yesterday

It was the 5th year in a row,

That no one brought me a cake

Maybe it's because I'm all the way down here

Locked in this box

No one cares when you're gone

I'm lonely down here

Singing to myself

You'd think they would come to visit

But not once have they opened up my door

No one cares when you're gone

I tried calling out to them today

But received no reply

The worms are my only friends it seems

Crawling over my bones and decomposing flesh

No one cares when you're gone

No one cares when you're dead
