do you feel Nintendo 3ds XL having a very small screen to work with?

The 3DS XL's screen size is very adequate for a hand held console.

I personally own a 3DSXL, and i truly see no reason to buy this over the 3DS. on the orginal 3DS, the sceen looks sharper in comparsion to the XL, because the XL's screen is literally stretched to fit the new screen. Although the screen looks bigger, the graphics in my opinion look more sloppy on the 3DSXL. The only reason, to buy a 3DSXL is that a new one has been released recently, going under the name "New 3DSXL". On this device, the processing power is upgraded, more buttons added, Amiibo support. So, its either you get the New 3DSXL, or the 3DS, because the 3DSXL is mostly a waste of money. Or just buy a 2DS, that works too.

However, in some games, such as Super Smash Bros., Its easier to play as the characters on the screen aren't as small, and you wont hurt your eyes too much on the XL. For the most part, i reccomend the New 3DSXL. Hope this helps.

Definitely get the XL. Those bigger screens makes a big difference. I had the original 3DS in the beginning. And I never liked it because of those tiny screens. Never touched the original ever again after buying the XL.

I think so, my cousin has one and i prefer the nintendo dsi XL, but there is not THAT big of a screen diffrence. Hope this helped you out a little bit :)

um....it's called XL for a reason haha. The screen is good for a handheld console its size.

You should see the screen size of the regular 3DS.
