Need help with an ant problem please?
So we like never get ants where we live in Canada. In fact, we barely get anything not even spiders (like we will see one once a month type of ratio). Anyways so we put out ant traps and spray raid outside the house every month or so, but for whatever reason there are a bunch more ants inside this year. And by a bunch, I mean we looked in our cupboards and found about 22 throughout the day so far. There's no food left out or anything, and these are just your common black ants.
So we wanted to know if there's a spray you can buy that can kill all the ants (and wherever they're coming from, without harming any of our pets. Can't use raid in the house for obvious reasons.

The small, regular size ants, have a nest that might be outside or in a wall and this is the source to take care of. There is a queen in the nest that lays eggs.
Ant bait will take care of them.
A sugar based bait is needed for ants that like sugar. A protein bait is needed for ants that like protein.
The ants will take the bait to the nest and it will take care of the ants in time.
The bait can be found where the bug sprays are sold. It comes in little disks, liquid and gel. Raid should have some of the bait.
If the ants are real big ants, they can be carpenter ants and there is bait for them. They like to stay in wood and make tunnels and in stumps outside.
Source(s): Liquid Terro, sugar based, took care of some ants we had.
