RHH: What are your thoughts on Hell hath No Fury by Clipse? (+BQs)?

I think it is an amazing album. One of the best of 2006 behind Food & Liquor.

BQ1: Rate Lord Willin' by The Clipse on a 1-10 scale.

BQ2: Supreme Clientele (Ghostface killah) or Like Water for Chocolate (Common)?

BQ3: Flatbush Zombies or The Underachievers? I feel like we don't talk about these guys at all... Do you like their music?

One of my favorite albums ever, and I definitely consider it a classic. My top 5 list for 2006 goes like this:

    1. Fishscale - GFK

    2. A Piece of Strange - Cunninlynguists

    3. Hell Hath No Fury - Clipse

    4. Game Theory - The Roots

    5. Food & Liquor - Lupe

BQ1: 6/10. That's one of those albums that I don't think is that great but I still love it. I do think the songs Cot Damn, Grindin, and I'm Not You are amazing though.

BQ2: Supreme Clientele but really close

    BQ3: Haven't heard of either

Hell Hath No Fury and Lord Willin' are both quality albums, but end up sounding a little monotonous to me before they end. The albums aren't really structured that well and need more changes in pace, but as it stands they're both peppered with a lot of beats which sound similar in close proximity to one another. Still The Neptunes dropped a lot of solid cuts on there, so they still land in the 7-8/10 range for me.

BQ2: Like Water For Chocolate, definitely.

BQ3: I always confuse these guys with some other corny white dude rap groups that some of my friends have shown me so I've never checked em out. I'll add them to my list of **** to listen to.
