  • RHH: Your views on Nicki Minaj (+BQs)?

Honestly, I think she is a good rapper. Actually one of the best female rappers. But her image doesn't help her talent... Also, the production in most of her songs (especially on Pink Friday) is quite pop-ish and doesn't remind of hip hop.

Her lyrics can be great (her verse on Monster is more than enough proof) and she can actually have some meaning in her songs when she want to.

However the way media portrays her is just awful making her seem like a dumb barbie doll... What do you think about her?

BQ1: Did you like The Pinkprint?

BQ2: What's your favorite Nicki Minaj verse?

  • RHH: Do you like Lil Boosie?

Do you like him? I like his songs and his mixtapes. And his song All I Know has been stuck on my brain today...

He is really one of the few who really respresents the South well. It is kinda ridiculous though how his career is now getting bigger because he got out of prison...

So do you like him? Favorite pre-jail project he has done?

  • RHH: Is Nas irrelevant now?

I mean with all due respect, Nas is my #1 GOAT rapper on my list and Illmatic my #1 RHH album... But isn't he kinda irrelevant right now? After all this time, I don't even feel like I wanna talk about him or listen to new stuff (if he ever releases anything new again).

Life Is Good was a big disappointment for me, not that it sucked, but it wasn't what I expected. I liked "The Season" the track he put out but that's the only thing he released the past few years I actually liked.

He will always have the talent he had when he put out Illmatic, but hasn't he become overplayed? How do you feel about Nas at this point? Isn't he kinda washed up?

And then which one is your favorite?

BQ2: Which is your favorite Kanye West intro in one of his albums? It could be just a spoken intro or a whole song.

BQ3: Who is the worst rap fan you have ever seen? It could be from a random guy you know to a famous persona and whoever you want.

  • RHH: What are your thoughts on Hell hath No Fury by Clipse? (+BQs)?

I think it is an amazing album. One of the best of 2006 behind Food & Liquor.

BQ1: Rate Lord Willin' by The Clipse on a 1-10 scale.

BQ2: Supreme Clientele (Ghostface killah) or Like Water for Chocolate (Common)?

BQ3: Flatbush Zombies or The Underachievers? I feel like we don't talk about these guys at all... Do you like their music?

  • RHH: How do you feel about this Bill O'Reilly guy and his statement?

    http://www.hotnewhiphop.com/bill-oreilly-thinks-ra...

So for those who don't like links this Bill O'Reilly basically said that Rap Music is bad for religion... Especially talking about Christianity... And that rap music is the one to blame for the decline of Christianity.

He praised Kendrick and Kanye for " incorporating Christianity into their music".

Now as a person who is quite skeptical over religion I find these statements quite incorrect and provocative, if not racist. Why specifically rap and not any other genre of music? Pop idols (who are also targetting a younger audience) can dance half-naked in their videos but rappers can't talk about their lives and what they have seen (including drugs, strippers and crime). Also music is not the one to blame for the decline in Christianity. Organized religion is the one to blame imo but that's a whole other conversation...

So what's your opinion on this? Do you even care about a guy like Bill O' Reilly?

  • RHH: Can good flow make up for mediocre lyrics (+BQs)?

I personally think a rapper with good flow and mediocre lyrics is better than a rapper with boring flow / no flow at all and good lyrics. What do you think?

BQ1: B/S - Freddie Gibbs has the best flow out there right now.

BQ2: Which reg do you think has the most similar music taste to yours?

  • RHH: Do you consider The Cool by Lupe Fiasco a classic? (+BQs)?

I do think of it as a classic album. But I had a conversation with my friends and one of them called it mediocre... I mean I think it's close to being as good as Food & Liquor which is his best imo.

BQ1: What's your opinion on Vic Mensa? Do you like him?

BQ2: B/S: If Freddie Gibbs makes another album like Pinata he is undeniably the best out there

    BQ3:

    1. Schoolboy Q or Kevin Gates?

    2. Oxymoron or Luca Brasi 2
