NRHH: How often do you check out new music? (+BQs)?

I visit HNHH.com everyday with no exception except from the days where I don't get on the internet at all. Also DjBooth and other sites. Do you do the same? How often?

BQ1: If you see that an artist you don't like released something new will you check it out or ignore it?

BQ2: Would you call yourself open minded when it comes to music? Do you stay to stuff you know you like or do you try different genres, styles, artists etc..?

BQ3: Has any new artist caught your eye lately?

Also, Jeezy dropped a mixtape out of nowhere (I think?..) http://www.hotnewhiphop.com/jeezy-gangsta-party-ho... not a question just tellin you guys to check it out if you are fans..

Pretty often, mainly because my tastes have changed (outside of hip hop), so there is so much stuff I am catching up on.

Bq1: I would ignore it, unless someone who knows my taste says that I might actually like this particular release by them, or if there is a lot of hype around it, I might just check it out of curiosity, to see if it really is that good. Most of the time I would ignore it though.

Bq2: I would say so, but only more so in the last year and a half.

    Bq3: Clarence Clarity.

Back in the glory days I would check out something like 50+ albums a week. These days I'll listen to a few per day if I have the time/energy.

BQ: I usually don't until someone asks a question about it and realize I might as well. There's very little music I truly dislike so it's not that bad for me.

BQ2: I'd say so. I'm always willing to listen to new things and always like to expand my horizons. There's nothing I won't give a chance, and if people tell me to relisten to something I often will even if I have a pretty strong, developed opinion.

BQ3: How new are we talking? I find Cities Aviv to be the most interesting hip hop artist I can think off the top of my head, and he/they debuted in 2011 I think.

As much as I can. I'm always trying to find more stuff to buy because after a while, I get bored with some of the songs I have on my playlist. I desperately need to buy more music now since I haven't in a month.

BQ1: I ignore it. I know I won't like it so why waste my time? You know what I mean?

BQ2: I'm actually a lot more opened minded with non rap music actually. I could be kind of closed minded with my opinions in hip hop but idk. I like discovering new artists in other genre's as well.

BQ3: Not in hip hop, but I've been really getting into The Brothers Johnson, a 70's funk/disco band. They might become one of my all time favorite music acts actually. I haven't found a song from them I dislike
