RHH: The Sun Rises In The East is way too underrated (+BQs)?

Not really. Maybe it isn't mentioned as much as it should be, but when we do mention it, it gets the praise it deserves. But I was thinking the same thing when I listened to it a couple days ago.

BQ1: The Sun Rises in the East

BQ2: Haven't listened to Death is Certain but I'll rank the others

1. Deltron 3030 (easily #1 of this list)

3. Gorillaz (I really don't think this album is that great. It's their 3rd best album in my opinion, but I do think that Dan the Automator did a great job)

BQ3: Buy. And so are A Book of Human Language and To Whom It May Concern. He has a great discography.

Jeru the Damaja just has this rich, deep voice and an aggressive flow that fits pretty wonderfully over Preemo's work, but as a whole the guys got like twelve collective brain cells in his noggin. I like listening to a few tracks by him every now and then but his first two albums are a little mind-numbing if you want to just sit down and let it play. A little more thought and a little less battle rapping would've gone a long way into making him less one-dimensional.

BQ: Soul on Ice, definitely.

Yes, definitely. It's Jeru flowing perfectly on some of Preemo's best beats.

Word. The production on it is top notch. Preemo was at his best on that album and there are many great tracks on the album. Hip hop at its finest!
