RHH: What do you think of A.L.L.A.? (+BQs)?
So A$AP Rocky dropped the album and I am listening to it right now. I think it is a good album better than his previous projects. Haven't finished listening to it tho so I can give a review or anything... I like it so far. If you listened to it what did you think?
BQ1: To those who listened to both A.L.L.A. by Rocky and Touchdown 2 Cause Hell by Boosie which one did you like more?
BQ2: Where does Rocky rank in your top modern rappers list? He is #6 for me right now.
BQ3:
A$AP Rocky
Lil Boosie
Freddie Gibbs
J. Cole
Ab-Soul
Rank them from favorite to least favorite.

I posted a review of the album and I believe it merits consideration for album of the year.
BQ1: Damn bro..That's a tough one..I think
I probably prefer Touchdown 2 Cause Hell because of personal preference and a bias for Boosie and Webbie, but in terms of skill ALLA takes this one..The album is extremely creative, lyrically flawless and has mad replay value..T2CH touches on all of today's issues and does it perfectly and with ease but in terms of pure rapping skill, the album pales in comparison to ALLA imo..Tough one for me though.
BQ2: Let's see..He wasn't in my top 10 before ALLA but he's a new and welcomed addition..
1.) Freddie Gibbs
2.) Big KRIT
3.) Joey Bada $$
4.) Blu
5.) Kendrick Lamar
6.) CyHi The Prynce
7.) A $AP Rocky
That list isn't concrete but I like the look of it atm..

Great album. I think it was better than his first two projects as well. All the tracks are great and it ends amazingly with a damn great track with Mos Def.
BQ1: Haven't heard Boosie's album yet.
BQ2: I don't have a list, but...
If I were to make one, it would start off with Freddie Gibbs, Big K.R.I.T., Blu, Lupe Fiasco, and Killer Mike. Then him. I haven't heard any Cyhi da Prynce's projects, so I will put him below even though he's skilled. So A$AP Rocky is at #6 for me as well.

flows, rhyme schemes, emotions and general rhymes are on point. but general subjects, concepts and messages are nothing special. he's got better, but he's not in my top 10 list. he just doesn't come across as an authentic guy to me.
rap skills - 8.5/10
personality - 6/10
1. J Cole
2. A$AP
3. Ab-Soul
4. Freddie Gibbs
5. Lil Boosie
I haven't heard many songs from Soul, Gibbs and Boosie so that's not a very well-informed list. I mainly listen to 90s and early 2000s hip hop.
