What are some interesting and funny ways to teach English grammar rules?
For example, when teaching the subject verb agreement, i tell my students that a singular subject needs help from Superman, therefore it takes a singular verb.
Whereas the plural subject is strong enough to handle itself, so no Superman.
Or the word 'any' is a playboy, so it has many girlfriends. Which means there is always a plural / uncountable noun behind it.
Do you have any more interesting ideas. It would be great if you could direct me to a page with creative grammar lessons with stories. Especially on grammar rules. i find this is one of the best ways to teach English even to adults.

There are different suggestions on the webpages. One is creating a character and using that character to demonstrate verbs and nouns. There are also suggestions on using crossword puzzles or other games to demonstrate grammar rules.

It can be helpful to think up your own terms for remembering parts of speech: for instance, a gerund is a kind of kangaroo that keeps jumping around.
I'm very, very cautious of this approach in general. Trying to fit folksy explanations to grammar can easily over-simplify to the point of being wrong.
