Yahoo doesn't want us answering questions like this, because what you're asking us how to do something unlawful. Maybe offer to buy your neighbor a muffler for the generator. That might make him think. Otherwise, ask the police department what can be done.

I believe in the direct approach method. Tell him that his generator is too loud, and it is irritating, and distracting you from your peace and tranquility.

You would never under any circumstance want to put a teaspoon of valve grind compound in the oil filler tube - no sir you wouldn't want to do that.....ever.
