Do rainbow roses grow like that or are they painted?

    No they do not naturally grow that way. The rainbow rose is a rose that has had its petals artificially colored.

    The method is water is drawn up the stem and by splitting the stem and dipping each part in different colored water, the colors are drawn into the petals resulting in a multicolored rose.

    Doing that causes them to not live as long as an uncolored rose.

    They don't grow and are not painted. It is like a trick to the eyes caused by water
