How to speak with better resonance?
I'm a young adult male but I hate my voice. I know, lots of people who listens to a recording of their voice hate it. Let me explain. Although I speak comfortably in a baritone range (roughly 105 hz), it sounds really high and almost childish if that makes sense. Tenors sound more manly than I do. I'd be happy to be a tenor if I just sounded normal.
And it's not just me who thinks that. I've asked others and they also said it sounded quite high and not very adult-like. Is there anything I can do about this? Any guesses as to why it's like that?
I can't afford a vocal coach right now.

Relax!
If you are nervous and tense, your voice loses it's resonance.
That's basically how "Voice stress analyzer" type lie detectors work, they look at how the low frequency content varies in proportion to the higher frequencies.

The ONLY SAFE WAY IS to consult a voice coach who works with actors/actresses and telemarketers etc. Trying to obtain random "advice" online is as DANGEROUS for one's throat as trying to perform a minor surgery on oneself after watching how it is "done" in an episode of Holby City or Chicago Hope.
