1st date and I'm wondering.. is it a good Idea?

I was texting this girl for a while and I got to like her alot and I asked her on a date and she said yes. It's fully organised. We are going. Thing is when I say I'm looking forward to it she either ignores it and talks about something else or says Aw and moves on.. I have complimented her a bit and she says thank you and all but never really shows Any affection back. She has however said she thinks she van trust me and tell me secrets and we have interesting convos. Was she just being nice saying yes to the date? She said she usually just gets asked to town and that it was really nice that I wanted to take her to dinner. I plan to meet her at her house, walk to dinner, pay the bill, walk her home.. Very Basically.. Any advice?
