My wifi isn't connecting anymore?

It's worked perfectly fine ever since I first bought it a year ago. I connected my wifi that day and it's been gold since. Now today, when my uncle came over and tried to connect his phone a bunch of problems arose. The password to the wifi network no longer works for some reason (I only ever put it in once a year ago), it just keeps going in a loop between obtaining ip address, saved, and connected over and over again. While never actually giving me a connection. I tried using the static address and that gives me full bars of strength, but yet again no connection whenever I try to use the internet. SO WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON? This is incredibly annoying, never had a problem like this before.
