Nobody truly knows exactly how old earth is.
Some say thousands.
Some say Millions.
Some say Billions.
You see? It's all bullshit.
I have not lived long enough to give you the right answer. All one can do is give you a guess.

Due to the inconsistencies in carbon dating and other methods of dating it is almost impossible to know. Consider that the Earth is consistently losing magnetism, the moon is getting farther away and the sun is getting smaller. All this would have a tremendous effect on the earth and the solar system over time. A worldwide flood could have created the geological column very quickly as evidence of trees growing up through multiple layers implies. It is possible that the earth could be 6000 years old.

Hmmm....
Scientists think that the Earth was formed about 5 billion years ago. This happened when another planet crashed into a wasteland of a planet, and they reformed to make the earth and its moon. As a Christian, I was always led to believe that God made the Earth and the universe "long ago". Which theory is correct? I don't know.
Hope this helps!

The bible does not actually say how old the Earth is, it is a guesstimate from bible experts, counting the descendants of Adam, however it is obvious that many descendants are not mentioned, very few women are mentioned and without women there would be no descendants, I mean Cain and Seth had children, but by who?
I prefer the scientific studies that suggest the Earth is 4.5 billionyears old.

Well I'm thinking it's really really old. We are seeing light from galaxies 14 billion light years away, which means that light we are seeing left it 14 billion years ago, or there abouts. So I'm not too convinced the earth is relatively young like 10,000 years old. I'm thinking well over 100 million years.

4.5 billion years. Basicly because using carbon-12 metod we can estimate the age of diffrent objects. Also loads of other methods that are most certainly verified by matemathic formulas.
The earth is deffinately not only 6000 years old as the Bible say, if that is what you think.

4.5 Billion years is the answer given in over 99% of peer-reviewed professional journals. This means, an expert is having his article reviewed by other experts.
My neighbor says it's not true. Because his gut tells him something else.
I trust the experts.

4.54 Billion Years old because that's what it said when I typed it into google. Though according to the Bible it's 6000 years so...your call really.
