Increase house value?

Hi. Just flooring my loft space for storage. Approx 20 sq metres. Would it improve the value of the house?

    Any increase in storage will help improve the appeal of a house. But unless it is very easy access, an attic loft is not of much monetary value.

    There are NO major projects that pay for themselves in increased property value. Fresh paint has the highest return on investment, followed by cleaning up the yard.

    If the existing floor is in very poor shape, it may help make your house more appealing.

    As far as increasing the value of the home depends upon whether or not the people interested in buying like the flooring you install.
