Food stuck in esophegus?
Hi. Several times now, more than 10 I'd say, when I eat I can't swallow, the food gets stuck in my throat and is very painfullya and struggle to breath. Last night I had the worst episode yet,eat some chicken breast (it was overcooked and a little dry) and I could feel it stuck in my throaty, moving very very slowly. To help it down I rushed for a drink of water but the water made it worse and sat above the food, I was chocking and in pain and forced myself to be sick to get it out. This has happened several times before, peanut butter is a trigger but not every time. Just want to know why this happens and what can I do,if anything to stop it. My throat and esophegus is sore today after last night

Seems alot but after the various things that always pop up (birthdays, house repairs etc),road tax and mot next month. Il have maybe 1 night out a month, budget like mad, shop at cheap food stores, cook in bulk to make food go further, cycle to work to save on transport. Il prob be lucky to save £50 this month, not enough holidays etc.
I never get a chance to save and it worries me.

3 AnswersDo It Yourself (DIY)6 years agoremoving insulation. ...?
Hi. I have 2 layers or insulation in my loft space (this is a modern UK house). I need to fit a loft ladder but this requires a floored section in the loft to attach the ladder to. In order to floor it I need to remove a 1 meter section of insulation. Is this ok?
3 AnswersDo It Yourself (DIY)6 years agoloft ladder?
Hi. I need to fit a loft ladder. Im also about to floor my loft which requires the use of stilts to accommodate insulation. My issue and question - the ladder fits to the loft floor anf hatch opening. Im conserned the raised/stilt floor wher the ladder will attch to will not be strong enough. I was thinking of removing 1 of 2 layers for where the ladder will sit, flooring this, and fitting ladder to floor.
Is this viable? Has anyone fitted a loft ladder to a loft with stilted flooring, how did you tackle it? Cheers
1 AnswerDo It Yourself (DIY)6 years agohiding tv cables, UK?
Hello. Just mounted my flat screen on the plasterboard wall. I need to hide the cables now. My method was going to be this - cut a hole (approx 4inch) behind tv, and direct below and behind furniture unit cut same size hole then feed cables through.
Never done this before but does this seem like best solution? ?
4 AnswersDo It Yourself (DIY)6 years agoflooring an insulated loft space?
Hi. Time to utilize my loft space. Its a new build property, and well insulated between the joists,at points the insulation is over a foot + in height (looks like it has expanded). How do I go about flooring it? I presume I can't just floor directly and compress the insulation? Its heavily insulated and mt house is warm, I want to keep it that way!
Any advice / links welcome

4 AnswersCooking & Recipes6 years agoshall I move country?
ive lived in Scotland my whole life, im a proud Scot. But the cold and dark nights gets to me. Im an outdoor person by nature and always yearn to move to a warmer climate, for better quality of life. Scotland is a great place to live, great people, world class education, jobs, culture, free health care etc. Countries like France, parts of USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand seem to offer better lofe/work living, basically better weather. I always get depressed in Winter,so I want to leave that part of my life behind.
Would you risk that for something better? Have you moved to warmer climate, was it worth it? How did you family settle? Is the frass really greener?

I used it 10 days ago and see no noticeable results - still cold here in UK,could this be a factor? Or can I use something like aftercut lawn thickener at same time,or is this over kill?
