How to stop an argument?
this is quite personal so ease don't be stupid.
Recently my parents have been arguing and it's often late at night. My room to right next to theirs so I usually hear it clear.
I want to be able to stop it, in a way. But I'm too scared of what to do or say.
It usually clears over after a week( my family is weird) what should I do?

Every family goes through tough points. I'd go talk to the parent you're more comfortable with ( if you have a preference) and tell them that it keeps you up at night or it's scaring you. I would try to find something to take they're minds off fighting and more on they're kid(s) or doing a project around the house.. Just try to help out and ease whatever they're arguing about.. And you said yourself that it will blow over after a week. Just hang in there. :)

It's normal for parents to fight sometimes but if your parents are getting physical tell someone like an aunt of uncle or grandma ECT
And deffinitly talk to your parents... If you have some brothers of sisters ask them house you feel when you guys fight... I bet they don't like it

You could tell them that you can hear them arguing. You'd appreciate their doing so, in a way you can't hear it all, like in a different room, and more quietly.

not much you can do about it but if theyre getting physical you can call the police, they'll learn fast not to fight like that again

if it's personal why share it?
