Different-colored bubbles on iPhone text messaging?

I am a new iPhone owner and when sending text messages, some bubbles with my sent texts are in blue, others are in green. Anyone know what this means?

    Blue - iMessage, internet based, between Apple devices

    Green - SMS message, carrier based, any phone

    Blue=iMessage, between you and another Apple user

    Green=Text message, between you and someone without an Apple product

    Green=non-iOS user

    Blue=iOS user

    Blue texts are free over wifi, by the way :D
