  • What ‘80s/‘90s movie was this?

I am trying to find a movie where at the very end a mother is at the front door of their house having a conversation with a man. Her young daughter is with her too and the man asks “is this your daughter?”

And then at the end of their conversation, the woman tells the man “You can come in.” and that was the end of the movie.

  • Where can I get thicker baseball card sleeves for a binder?

Hi, I am looking to buy sheets of plastic baseball card sleeves that you can put 9 cards in and put them in a binder. But I want to get thicker ones, the 2 5/8" x 3 5/8", rather than the normal 2 1/2" by 3 1/2".

    Where can I find these?

  • Missed downloading a photo on time -- can someone send the image for it?

Hello. It is about 1:45 am ET on January 2.

For this year, I was hoping to get the 365 daily banners downloaded from this particular forum that represent every day of the year. I sadly missed downloading the first banner from yesterday, of when was January 1.

Therefore, if it's still January 1 right now where you live, if someone could download the image you see at the top of the page (that represents January 1) and then forward a copy of it to me it would be great. Here is the link:

    http://www.teammacosx.org/forum/

Otherwise, I'll have to wait another year, of which I don't really want to do. :(

  • Two sisters that marry two brothers?

What is it called when two ladies who are sisters marry two men who are brothers? Meaning the sister of a woman would marry the person who happens to be the woman’s husband’s brother.

  • Motion sickness when in a different car.?

Hello, I find that whenever I'm in a car as a passenger (not a driver) that I'm almost never in very often, I get motion sick within minutes. Is this usual? I suspect that for some people when they ride in a car they are not used to being in, it's all the signals in the brain, eyes and such that are leading to it; and per some sites, different pathways to the nervous system all detect motion.

  • Whom affiliated with the Beatles from way back in the day is still living today?

So, with Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr as the active Beatles who are still living, along with Pete Best, Klaus Voormann, Jimmie Nicol, (and on very rare occasion Eric Clapton) who are amongst those who were affiliated with the Beatles that are still living.

When it comes to the deceased, I know most everyone whom I can remember associated with them has gone -- John Lennon, George Harrison, Stuart Sutcliffe, Brian Epstein, George Martin, Neil Aspinall, Mal Evans, Allan Williams, Allen Klein, Tony Barrow, Derek Taylor, Andy White, Tony Sheridan, Billy Preston, even those who have hosted when they've been on shows like Ed Sullivan, Brian Matthew, and David Frost.

I wonder what other people who I left out who were affiliated with the band are still living?

  • What movie was this scene from?

I remember watching a movie at the theater with my childcare program, circa 92-93. The scene had a young boy splashing in a bathtub singing "She ll be comin round the mountain when she comes!!!" But since it was so long ago and the fact that my childcare program would go to the theater just once every couple months, this movie title isn t coming to mind.

Anyone remember what 92-93 movie this scene came from?

What is this famous painting called?

Hi, I am looking for details about a particular painting. I don't know what to say about it except it looks to be of a little boy holding a valuable bird in his hands. This painting I first encountered in the hallway of my elementary school, and then I saw it again many years later while on a school trip while staying at our teacher's parents' house. Finally last month, it came back again when part of it was a mural at a hotel I was staying at. I have uploaded the image of what the mural is here that I found on courtesy of the hotel's yelp section courtesy of another visitor. I have been wondering for years and years what this painting is called. Could someone tell me what this famous painting is? Thanks so much!

  • iPod no longer in production?

I heard a rumor that Apple stopped the production of their iPod....is this true?

In all I've owned two iPods, one that was 20gb and then I upped it to an 80gb in 2008 and have had possession of that one ever since. Wish I had gotten the one that had the biggest capacity.

So if this rumor is actually true, what is the next version of an MP3 player that's currently the most popular out there right now?

  • What's the correct phrasing of this phrase?

I am looking for the right phrasing of this, "If I never see <insert noun> again it'll be too soon" or is it "If I EVER see <insert noun> again it'll be too soon".

Whatever the proper phrasing is, I know it means to never encounter something again in one's lifetime.

  • How many tracks does an 80gb iPod hold?

Of course there is a limit to the # of gb's but is there a limit to the # of songs/tracks an 80gb iPod (of what I own) carry?

What I'm doing is trying to get as much on as I can, not to mention including deleting a number of songs and re-ripping them in 11000 kHz to make room for much more tracks.

  • Where can I view a complete list of phone numbers of my Facebook friends?

I remember a long time ago when Facebook had a feature where for the friends you had that posted their phone numbers there was a page that listed all of them and was called a "phonebook".

Unfortunately for the past year or so I've tried to find that feature and I've had no luck. Any Facebook experts out there know if that feature still exists anymore, and if so where I could find it?

  • What computer game was this from?

There was this computer game made around the mid 1990s that a friend had; my guess is it was from the Star Trek series but I might be wrong.

All I really remember from the game were the two quotes "You fail to obtain anything." and "Jim, that'll destroy the glass case!"

Anyone know what 90s-computer game this was?

  • Best equipment to audio record from the radio?

In the next few months, there will be a 50 hr. marathon on my local radio dial that I would be interested in audio recording in it's entirety.

I know that I definitely couldn't be awake for that long, and seeing that audio tapes are pretty much obsolete; what do you think would be the best equipment to use for recording this marathon?

On the cover Paul McCartney's solo 1970 release "McCartney", there is a bowl with red stuff inside and little red things all around it. I know some say cherries, some say gelatin, and of course some say something different. What exactly are those red things?
