What is this famous painting called?

Hi, I am looking for details about a particular painting. I don't know what to say about it except it looks to be of a little boy holding a valuable bird in his hands. This painting I first encountered in the hallway of my elementary school, and then I saw it again many years later while on a school trip while staying at our teacher's parents' house. Finally last month, it came back again when part of it was a mural at a hotel I was staying at.
