is the marijuana experience a psychic experience?

Years ago I used to have a great interest in psycho-pharmacology: to see if there were any herbs or drugs that affected psi abilities. I had read the Don Juan books by Carlos Castaneda and knew about the results he got with peyote, and studied other drugs like damiana, yohimbe, Salvia divinorum (also known as Diviner's Sage), etc. It's possible that some of those herbs might open psychic abilities but like with LSD, could have nasty side-effects.

If you want to develop psi abilities, take up meditation or better yet, learn self- hypnosis. Most drugs don't work or are illegal and / or are hard to get and not worth the trouble. Booze and grass will get you mellow for a while but that's all and actually those two are the worst things for psi wild talents-- nobody has ever heard of a drunk telepath or a stoned teek. Like wet firecrackers, they just don't work...

Marijuana for me, was a very hungry experience, eg, kebabs, crisps, chocolate and McDonald's, lovely jubely.

You won't get a psychic experience with alcohol, but on the bright side, you won't give a sh!t

It totally depends on what you believe about psychic abilities, because they've never been effectively proven to exist.

I think most people would consider it a spiritual experience.

Drugs don't make you psychic. That doesn't mean that there aren't people who have used cannabis/hashish, LSD, peyote/mescaline, psilocybin, and other drugs who weren't convinced that they became telepathic or clairvoyant or whatever else you consider psychic, just that not a single one of them have ever been able to prove it.

they are both physical experiences. they can make you aware in different ways, or maybe it's conducive to your work flow, but no, not really, it's not like another dimension or anything like that.

No there are no such things as psychic abilities. It will make you laugh even harder at people that believe in such things though.
