I'm a little on the fence about this issue.. I feel for security the patriot act is necessary BUT I also feel that it steps over the line a little when it comes to personal privacy. This is one issue IF I were a candidate I would hate to have to respond to. I don't believe there is a right answer.

No. Absolutely not. They were only spying on all us American citizens only. They were looking in on us, not on foreigners, just us. I don't think that was what it was supposed to be about. It was all a great hoax and my answer is NO. And I am proud of Snowden for his brave daring acts of whistle blowing on it all! Now, on the other hand, if they can actually and honestly (which I doubt) come up with a separate new bill, which is designed to make provision for the bugging of international communications and the surveilling of talk and E-mails of foreigners, now I could support something like that.

It's a BETRAYAL of Americans-- and the USA Patriot Act should never have been passed.

I feel that some parts of it are important and should be continued, but not all. The wholesale collection of data on all Americans must stop!
