How to hamster proof a rabbit cage?

I have a Syrian hamster than I am wanting to move in my old rabbit cage.

I put her into it today an she could squeeze through the bars and get straight out:/

Is there anyway to make it so she can't get out?

    My cuzins did the same thing, what they did to prevent that was they put ductape on the inside and out of the bars, I'd prefer see through

    You could buy mesh wire and go all around the cage.
