If you are a minor, you will need parents involvement. If not, schedule an appointment with a Psychiatrist and be prepared to pay cash for visit and cost of prescription medicine. Good Luck

You get them the same way as you would if you didn't have insurance. First, you go to a doctor who can prescribe them, and you pay that doctor however much that doctor charges, using only your own money, without using insurance. Next, you take the prescription to a pharmacy and you pay the pharmacy, using only your own money, without using insurance.

Are you just hiding a condition?
Anti depressants really need to be taken under a doctor's supervision, if just starting out they may have to try a variety to find what works for you, and each test can take weeks before any positive effects are experienced.

Then pay cash for them. You'll still need a doctor's prescription.

You can pay out of pocket if you have the money. But you might be surprised how supportive your parents are if you talk to them.
