Cashing in CHEQUE URGENT ADVICE?

hi there

I got paid my monthly wages for May by cheque by my employer

I want to cash in my cheque at a pawn brokers and I want to leave my jobas soon as I do this. basically he owes me lots of money which I'm claiming back through legal procedures, he is unaware.

I have the legal documents the pawn brokers need, for example my pay slip

However, I am worried that if I leave my boss will cancel that cheque. What would happen in this scenario? Legally he owes me that month in pay and I would have shown the pawn brokers my wage slip as proof

Wondering if anyone can shed any advice on this?

If your employer stops the check, that is between him and the bank. He owes the money, he wrote the check...he needs to honor it.
