Parental advise?
I have an 18 month old step daughter, we just got full custody of her. . . we have let her mother keep her over night a couple time. Well lately when I change her diapers when I go to wipe her "girly parts" she gets very uncomfortable and does not want me to touch her there and I usually only wipe there when she s gone poop, so I feel bad that she s uncomfortable but I have to to get her clean. Anyways as parents is this a phase that any of your kids went though . . . being uncomfortable having that area cleaned or something else. Please be serious this is very concerning to me.

I don't have any children but I do have plenty of child care experience (my sister's children and i've worked in many child care facilities) and honestly I don't think this is normal. I have changed many diapers at that age for both boys and girls and the children shouldn't feel uncomfortable especially if you're her step mom. I hope there isn't a serious reason behind this but maybe you'd like to discuss this with your husband? Good luck

maybe something happened to her that made her uncomfortable, that might be why you got custody, find out
