if there is 40% thymine in a strand of DNA, how much guanine is present?

I'm studying for Biology exams and I don't understand it at all and I need help with this question. thank you!

    A=T and G=C

    A+T = 805

    G+C =20%

    10%. If there is 40%T, then there must be 40% A, because there is an A for every T. Since 40% + 40% = 80%, there must be 20% G and C. Since the amount of G and C must be equal, there must be 10% of each.
