Often, animal shelters will allow you to host parties at the shelter, this is a way for them to gain extra cash for their shelter, and also for the child to spend time with puppies/etc. They will generally provide the cake, plates, drinks, balloons, decorations, etc (as a part of the full deposit). So, recommend calling a few animals shelters like that because it is way more common that you think. Maybe try that instead! Good luck and hope your child has a great birthday! :)

Allowing young puppies to be handled by out-of-control kids is gratuitous animal abuse of the worst kind. If you must have animals at your child's birthday party, hire a professional dog act that can perform a show for them.

I don't know I brought my puppy to my daughters 2nd grade class for two and 1/2 hours & all the children were excellent with him & he was excellent with them as well. So not all children are out of control. But I do agree with everyone else. Puppies are not toys, it may be best to just get some stuffed animals & use that instead.

Why not hire someone to bring stuffed puppies to the party? Real puppies are not toys to be man handled.
