  • Sign a lease as a tenant with no income?

Recently a friend of mine left an abusive situation. He lived with this girl who has a job and signed a lease. He signed a lease as a tenant but he had no income at the time and now he has moved out and she demands he pay back rent for when he lived there.

There was no written agreement of payback or anything. I am just curious about what is legal or what should happen.

  • My pet rat is suddenly biting?

I have two 8 week old male rats, both are neutered, their names are Hammy and Hewie and I am a fairly new rat owner.

Hammy has bitten me twice today and drawn blood. He is doing the lunge, bite, retreat. The only thing that upset the routine is I had my kitchen painted today, but I aired out my apartment before I brought them out and tried to get as much of the smell out as I could. The second bite happened a few minutes ago and I am lost.

If anyone has any advise to remedy this I thank you. He usually is just a sweet guy and climbs onto my hand and now he is doing this while Hewie on the other hand is acting normal...so I just don't know.

Can someone straighten this out for me? I've tried googling it and I keep getting conflicted answers.

  • Second opinion needed?

I took my cat into the vet two weeks ago cause I found a huge scabby part on her back and her fur was falling out. The cat comes in take a look and shrugs it off as she got into a fight with my other cat and he scratched her and caused an infection which was causing the scabbing and the fur falling out. He gave her a antibiotic shot and said to just watch her. I asked for a skin scrap to rule out things like parasites, diseases. etc. but he said it wasn't necessary cause it was just a scratch. I felt rather just shuffled in and shuffled out without any type of actual caring from the vet.

Has anyone ever experienced something like this with their cats? Getting a scratch and having the skin get scabby and have the fur fall off?

A bit part of her back is bald and the base of her tail is completely bald. Does anyone have any insight? Would a second opinion be wise or am I just making a big deal about nothing?

  • Help with Cat dandruff?

I have heard sunflower seed oil, shampoo, omega oil as well as brushing helps. Does anyone have any personal experience with anything that helps keep dandruff under control. I am only worried cause I have read it can turn into something serious.

Both my cats get bathed two to three times a year at a groom shop and they are parasite free.

Thanks for your help in advance.

  • Strange cat behavior?

I have two cats, a male and a female (both fixed) that have been together since February and just took my male to the groomer to get shaved and bathed and when I brought him home my female cat looked at him, sniffed him then hissed and ran away. She now is avoiding him and acting like he is a stranger cat?

I am perplexed by this! Anyone have any idea whats going on?

  • How to to get my parents off mine and my husbands back about having a child?

We've been married for 8 months and ever since we got married its always a part of our conversations with my parents, not his, mine about kids and babies. Its gotten so bad I don't even want to call my mother anymore because I just don't want to hear it anymore and when I tell her No I am not having children she gets really mad, screams at me about how selfish I am and disappointing I am to God then hangs up on me.

They have two grand kids by my brother which live with them. I live 5 hours away from them. She always tells me: Babies come when God sends them to you and I retort with, No mom babies come when you have sex with any protection.

This is a huge strain on my relationship with my parents and I.

Any advise, anyone? Has anyone had this problem?

  • Why are some people so against spaying and neutered?

Everyday I come on here seeing breeding question after breeding question (most are about oops breeding's) People tell them the logical thing to do and the idea is spit on because they don't want to "take away there reproductive rights" or "If your so for spaying and neutering animals you should spay your kids because the world is over-populated" or the ever popular "I don't have money" or "I want to breed my pit/chihuahua/lab, (oh yea good idea because there is such a shortage of those breeds in the world)

What has happened in this day and age to make people so selfish?
