That eyes exist, and in humans are a flawed design that a human Optical Engineer would do a better job, pretty much rules out an INTELLEGENT Designer.
On the other hand, the evolution of the mammalian eye explains those defects perfectly.
I prefer to believe that the human eye is a product of evolution, since the alternative is: God is an incompetent engineer.
There are competent scientists that are: Theists, Atheists, Agnostic, Monotheists, or Polytheists. The two areas of human thought are not related so long as you do not bring dogma from either area into the other.
Creationism/Intelligent Design is dogma.
"Dogma is a principle or set of principles laid down by an authority as incontrovertibly true."
Sound familiar?
All of the traditional mainline Protestant denominations support or accept theistic evolution. For example, on 12 February 2006, the 197th anniversary of Charles Darwin's birth was commemorated by "Evolution Sunday" where the message that followers of Christ do not have to choose between biblical stories of creation and evolution was taught in classes and sermons at many Methodist, Lutheran, Episcopalian, Presbyterian, Unitarian, Congregationalist, United Church of Christ, Baptist and community churches.[17]

Every stage of the evolution of the eye can still be seen in other animals from the simple eye spots of unicellular organisms, through light sensitive patches, eye cups, pinhole eyes, fixed lens eyes to mammalian eyes such as seen in humans.
And while we're on the subject of proof, how about you proving the existence of god using science, as you see fit to discuss science and religion together.
HINT: a big book of biblical bullshit written by people in the Bronze Age who thought whales were fish does not count as scientific evidence. Neither does saying "Ooh, everything is so beautiful therefore god must have made it".

Oh the proof is readily available, but if you have purposely avoided it thus far, I am not going to bother typing it here because you won't read it.
Lets say you are right [snicker] and evolution is false. In what way does this prove your "god"? Logic isn't a strong part of your game is it?

I can't prove the existence of God and therefore can't prove that God created anything.

It's impossible for the human eye to have "evolved".
The human eye is so complex and has 1000 co-equal functions, If one of them do not work, YOU'RE BLIND!

Yes. Yes, I can.
=============
Here is the idiocy of Christians:
@:D-]--<
"The human eye is so complex IT MUST HAVE BEEN CREATED.
Now, please note that God is a trillion times MORE complex, and did NOT need to be created.
And no, as I am a Christian, I do not see the conflict in those statements."

Sure, just as soon as you can prove talking snakes, jesus, the ability to send 10 plagues, god, why said god let the holocaust happen, as well as all the other dick moves and bullshit in the bible
