What is the correct grammar?

A group of scientists wants to study a dolphin. They took one, placed it in a huge tank filled with saltwater, and feed it once a day. What would likely be the cause of death?

Is "wants" correct?

Is "feeds" correct or should it be "fed"?

Kindly correct if theres anything i still have to change.

This is sort of logical/tricky question so dont mind the "once a day feeding".

As the previous answer says, "wants" is correct, and you need "fed".

I would also reword the final sentence: What would be the likely cause of death?

You should decide if you are going to use past or present tense for the whole thing. Then you choose your verbs:

    wants---take--place--feed--would be

    wanted--took--placed--fed--would have been (or "was")

"Wants" is correct because it is referring back to "a group," not "scientists." This is because, even though the group has multiple scientists, "a group" acts as a singular noun.

"Fed" would be correct. This is because the rest of the sentence is in the past tense, whereas "feed" is in the present tense.
