Belly button piercing healing process?

It's a lil red. U can only tell if you're close to it. Does that mean it's just irritated? And not on it's way to become infected ? How do I clean it properly? I just use a q tip with saline solution on it to clean it. Is that ok?

You should do sea salt soaks 2 times a day for 6 months. The q tip method just gets it wet, it doesn't actually flush bacteria away from the piercing. Redness is totally normal in a healing piercing. dried on bits are totally normal too, just don't pick at them, soak the piercing them remove them when they are soft. Don't force them to come off if they aren't ready to. It takes 6 - 12 months for this type of piercing to heal, so give it time, don't play with it or mess with it, and don't catch it on anything.

For the first 3 months I Just did sea salt soaks as often as I could remember. Now I just clean it up with a wet Q-tip.The way you're cleaning it is fine also. Oh and the redness is completely normal.

It's pretty much the same as pierced ears. The redness shouldn't be a problem unless it's itching or hurting, and saline solution is a good cleaner. You're doing fine and the redness should go away
