Do we every die?

So this is a idea I cam up with. People say life repeats itself so with that in mind and also the fact we live and die would mean we live, die and repeat? We don't know if there is a after life or something beyond life at the moment this is just a idea. Tell me what you think.

Hmm, Earth is like a prison that you keep serving life sentence after life sentence. Every birth is birth into amnesia. In life, you are capable of regaining your memory. Once you regain memory, you remember all the lives you lived. Then you figure out what it takes to release yourself from the prison.

The soul is like an eagle born in a cage with a sheet over it. You never know what lies beyond the sheet until someone has taken it off and opened the door.

I know a secret. I know how to regain the lost memory.

IF you don't know how you got here, then you will never know what happens after you leave. As long as you live, you will never know the destination afterwards. Regain your memory.

    Well, it's all just speculation.

I can say this much... for all of us, our lives sprang into existence, seemingly out of nothing. We come from nothing, we go back to nothing. If that can happen once, then perhaps it can happen again... but of course, without our memories and our context, we can never be who we are now...

I mean... even if we entertain the idea of reincarnation... if you come back as a fish, or a penguin, or a microbe, or a Klingon, or whatever... you won't be "you" anymore, not in any sense of the word.

I derive some hope from the fact that there IS something. Life is real. There is "somethingness", rather than plain old "nothingness".

Wouldn't it be awesome if, after we die, we get to replay our lives in "God mode"... do the same thing again, but raise all our stats to maximum, give ourselves 1,000,000,000 gold coins, and know all the answers to the puzzles in advance...

If we don't know something , we better approach someone who does know, or from whom we believe He knows, an authority,

Bg 2.27 — One who has taken his birth is sure to die, and after death one is sure to take birth again. Therefore, in the unavoidable discharge of your duty, you should not lament.

Bg 2.13 — As the embodied soul continuously passes, in this body, from boyhood to youth to old age, the soul similarly passes into another body at death. A sober person is not bewildered by such a change.

That is and has been our most deepest hope and desire ever since our molecules could think.
