how can I put a photo or icon in my yahoo answers as I see others do?

If you are asking about an Avatar photo............Right now we can't..... Yahoo closed down the Yahoo Profiles which is where we were able to do that and have not added a new way to change or add a profile picture. We have no idea when or if we will be able to change them again despite some answerers claiming it will be in a few weeks.

To add an image to a question or answer..... Switch desktop mode if you are on mobile.

For a Question..... At the bottom of the Question box click Photo and then on the new page click Pictures

Find the photo you want to upload from your saved picture file on your computer...

Click the photo and then click Open and it will upload.

You must do that before you submit.

Images must be less than 5MB and videos less than 600MB and 5 minutes

On an answer Click Photo/ Video and again find the photo on your computer and click that and then open.

You can only add 1 photo.

To add a video just copy the link and post it in your question or answer and it will show the video.

You can't add a picture at this stage due to Yahoo updating the system. The way we used to do it may be different when its functional again.

You can't. Yahoo has disabled avatars and editing of nicknames. They are making changes to profiles.

Not sure though you could try contacting yahoo to answer that question
