Braiding help! I have trouble braiding manes right to the end of the braid. I always seem to drop it?

or leave at least an inch or so at the end. Which doesn't help at all when I am ready to do them up as I always get too much hair sticking out. Any advice? Thanks!

Add in the yarn from the top to support the ends and try using hair gel combed into a damp mane to start. Fold the end under and kink it where you tie up the braid so the ends are pointing not up, but down. Then tie two knots at the top, then form your button, then tie twice below the button, then sew your yarn ends in. Add hairspray at the end if you really want to control ends throughout the braid.

Use a needle and thread, and sew the end smooth and flat. Then, when you go to fold the braid, first fold the unbraided end up under and sew it, then fold the braid as you want it to show and sew that. It's quicker and easier than it sounds, and works great. It's easier than banding or yarn, because you do it in several little steps rather than having to hold the hold thing while you band it or wrap and tie it.

    Good Luck!
