Wanna get my hair cut short; good short haircuts for curly hair?

I have unruly curly hair and I've always wore it long or medium. I wanna try something new and I want to try a short hair cut. My hair is thin, curly, and frizzes easily. I'm worried cutting it short will give it too much poof. I know I won't spend hours on it everyday. So, what are some good lower-maintenance short hair cut ideas for curly hair?

    I have had my hair cut boyish short most of my life, and I have curly brown hair, a lot of people find it adorable, and somehow fluffy lol whatever that is supposed to mean, but people find it cute definitely.
